MISHA Lucero has always been her parent’s major headache. Sa edad niya kasing beinte-kuwatro ay hindi pa rin siya natututong mag-mature. Tatlong taon na siyang tambay matapos niyang maka-graduate ng kolehiyo — far more different from her two elder sisters who had always been prim, proper and responsible — pero wala siyang pakialam. Kahit na ituring pa siyang black sheep ng pamilya, mas gugustuhin niya pang manood ng animè. At mas mamatamisin niya pang pangarapin ang kasal nila ng hinahangaan at minamahal na artista na si Lael Dela Vega, kaysa ang tumulong sa pamamahala ng kanilang kumpanya.
But when she pulled the last string, her father gave her an ultimatum: Magtatrabaho siya sa kumpanya ng kinakapatid na si Baileys o tatanggalan siya nito ng mana. Napilitan siyang sumunod sa gusto nito. Kahit labag sa kalooban ay napilitan siyang maging secretary ni Baileys Ricaforte. Mabait si Baileys kaya naman nagkasundo sila nito hanggang sa malaman niyang pinsan pala ito ng kanyang ultimate love na si Lael.
Thinking that that was her only chance to attain the love of her life, pinilit niya si Baileys na isama siya sa El Bonita Rosa para makita ang hinahangaang actor/director. Sa loob ng sampung araw ay madaming nangyari sa buhay niya. Nakilala niya si Lael at naging masaya siya. Madaming bagay siyang narealize ukol sa buhay niya. She fell in love with the island and it’s rose plantation farm.
Ngunit kasabay ng kasiyahang nadarama ay tila nagbago din ang damdamin niya. She should be head over heels inlove with Lael but why does her heart beat like crazy whenever he is with Baileys? At bakit ng halikan siya nito ay tila tumigil sa pag-inog ang mundo niya? Nagkamali nga ba siya? Could it be that she was inlove with Baileys all along?

Interviewer: Hello, Mr. Ricaforte. It’s nice to have you here. *shakes hand* So… Shall we start?
Baileys: Uh. Sure. Is this thing already on? *points at the voice recorder*
Interviewer: Of course, Sir. *laughs* Huwag po kayong kabahan. Relax lang po kayo. Let’s just pretend that we’re actually close friends at tinatanong ko lang po kayo ng usual slum book questions? *smiles flirtatiously* Okay po?
Baileys: *smiles back* Sure.
Interviewer: So… *looks through a little notebook in her hand* Number One, Introduce yourself. *gasps* Oh my! Where are my manners? I’m sorry Sir. Ironic Serendipity here. Olga for short. 
*extends her hand*
Misha: (Bubulong na rinig na rinig ng dalawang nauna) Parang kanina pa shake ng shake ng hand ah!
Baileys: Misha? What are you doing here?
Misha: *grins* I’m just doing my job. Bilang secretary mo, dapat nandito ako. *whispers at herself* Hmm. Should I be taking down notes?
Baileys: Uh. No need, really.
Misha: Oh. Okay. *smiles sweetly* (Olga clears her throat) *Misha rolls her eyes* Saka Baileys, bilisan mo pala kasi may appointment ka pa in thirty minutes.
Baileys: Huh? I didn’t know that. Well, mag-start na tayo, Ms. Olga. And by the way, call me Baileys., not Sir.
IS: (Eeekkk – blushes) Okay, Baileys. So, can you give our readers a bit information about yourself.
Baileys: I’m Baileys Dela Vega-Ricaforte. 28. Birthdate – September 30. Libra. Living in Makati. Alone. Though I don’t like it that much. Magiging impractical kasi kung sa Cavite pa rin ako titira, with my family, samantalang nasa Makati ang opisina ko. Uhmm… What else? Oh, and I am a co-owner and a chief creative officer of an advertising agency. I’m proud of it ’cause it’s actually doing pretty good. I’ve started it after I graduated in college.
IS: That’s interesting. What made you decide to build your own ad agency?
Baileys: Well, basically, I just learn to love my course during college, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Advertising Arts. The concepts, the drawings, the multimedia. *smiles* Iyon kasi talaga ang forte ko.
IS: Given that your agency is doing pretty well, were you already thinking that you’re living up to your ambitions?
Baileys: *laughs* Hindi ko naman talaga matatawag na ambisyon yung pagkakaroon ng advertising agency. I just love what I’m doing. Wala rin naman talaga akong ambisyon sa buhay. I’d rather refer to them as goals for the future. Well, my work is one on the list. I’m still planning on having a family and many other things aside from that. Hindi ko naman minamadali iyon.
IS: It seems like you’re a family-oriented person.
Baileys: Yeah. I grew up surrounded by a large group of family members – extended actually.
IS: Could you please describe yourself in a sentence?
Baileys: Well. I could say I’m a little timid but very approachable; a man of few words but is willing to speak his heart out whenever the situation calls for it. *smiles sadly*
IS: Inspired by a famous quotation or motto in life?
Misha: Motto? Ajinomoto.
Baileys: Misha… (warning tone)
Misha: What? *innocent face* *goes back to using her iPad-reading manga*
Baileys: *iling-iling nang nakangiti at babaling sa interviewer* Motto? I have two. Be contented with whatever you have, yet never stop wishing for ”something” more; Every breath is a second chance.
IS: Describe your dream girl.
Baileys: I don’t really mind the physical aspects, though that’s a bonus. As long as she’s neat and she knows how to take care of herself, that’s fine with me. Sa ugali naman, I want someone who’s understanding and God-fearing, witty, and fun to be with. I also like my dream girl to be the type of person who’ll mature and grow with me over time. I don’t care if she’s imperfect, I’ll cover the rest for her.
Misha: *kumabog ang dibdib dahil sa narinig pero agad ding binale-wala* (Nag-iisip: Is he referring to someone?)
IS: *daydreams*
Baileys: Ms. Olga?
Misha: Na-inlove na ata sa’yo *hahagalpak sa kakatawa*
Baileys: Tss. Silly. *snaps finger at the interviewer*
IS: Oh, I’m sorry. Next Question… *looks at paper* How would girls describe you?
Misha: Cute.
Baileys: *bahagyang yumuko* Cute is a word used for pet dogs.
Misha: Eh ano gusto mo? Handsome? Or nice?
Baileys: *blushes* I don’t really know. Maybe… Uh… Nice na lang nga.
IS: I can see that too. *laughs* What about some words or phrases you use the most?
Baileys: I don’t have one. And I don’t curse too. I mean, I do, sometimes, when I’m mad.
Misha: Told yah, Mr. Ricaforte here is Mr. Nice Guy. Isla El Bonita Rosa’s Mr. Nice Guy 2012. A round of applause please. *claps*
Baileys: Shut up, Misha.
Misha: (Whispers to Interviewer) There goes your expression. *clears throat and makes her voice sound like Bailey’s* Shut up, Misha. Could you please lower your voice a little, Misha? Quiet, Misha. Misssshhaaaaa! *tampal sa noo*
IS and Baileys: *laughs*
IS: Describe your daily routine.
Baileys: During weekdays, I usually wake up at around 5:30, do my regular exercise, takes a shower, eat something heavy for breakfast, basically getting everything done and goes to work by 8am. Then I get home at 5. If I have enough time, nagluluto ako. Pag hindi naman, nag-oorder na lang ako sa labas. Then, I always make sure I get to read a book before I sleep. Pag weekends naman, same thing, except that I don’t get to work and umuuwi ako sa Cavite so that I could join my family for dinner.
Misha: He sure eats a lot and he is one good cook too. Masarap yan magluto.
IS: Given that, can you share with us your favorite food?
Baileys: Spaghetti.
Misha: Hey, that’s mine. Chicken teriyaki yung sa’yo eh.
Baileys: Gusto ko din ‘yung spaghetti, Misha.
IS: Drinks?
Misha: Pangalan niya na lang dapat ang tinanong mo. *grins*
Baileys: Black Coffee with little cream and sugar.
Misha: What? I didn’t know that. Madami pa naman akong nilalagay na cream at sugar sa kape mo.
IS: *smiles at the two* Fruits and vegetables?
Baileys: Mangoes. And kinakain ko naman din kahit anong prutas at gulay.
Misha: Eww. I don’t eat veggies.
IS: Fave color?
Baileys: Black and Olive Green.
Misha: *taas-kamay* Royal Purple for me. ^_^
IS and Baileys: *mapapatingin*
Baileys: Ba’t sumasagot ka din Misha?
Misha: Uhm… Because I’m bored? Sige na pleasseee. *puppy eyes*
Baileys: O-okay.
IS: *thinking-Aww. They really look cute together* Hobbies?
Baileys: Reading a book and graphic designing.
Misha: Reading Manga and watching animès.
IS: Favorite movie.
Baileys: Lord of the Rings-Trilogy.

Baileys: I’m not really a sports buff but I do run sometimes and a little of frisbee with my cousins.
Misha: I’m not into it either pero nakapaglaro na din ako ng volleyball during college.
IS: TV show?
Baileys: I don’t have one.
Misha: Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, One tree hill, Secret Circle, Bleach, Law of Ueki, Love Hina, Doraemon…

Baileys: Err, I don’t really know. Pag may pumupuri sakin, maybe.
Misha: Oiii. Guwapo.
Baileys: Shut up, Misha.
Misha: *laughs* Ako wala naman in particular, minsan kapag nanonood lang ako ng tv and there’s a cute guy, kinikilig na agad ako. At kapag napapanood ko si Lael sa tv, his smile equals heaven. )
Baileys: Yeah, right. (whispers) *mapapatingin ang dalawa sa kanya* Ah. Nothing. Go on with the interview please.
IS: Most embarassing moment.
Baileys: I told her I love her, I picked up all the courage but then, hindi pala siya nakikinig. Narinig pa naman ng ibang tao. Buti na lang, hindi ko sila kilala. *tampal sa noo*
Misha: I saw Lael at a mall where I attended a Cosplay event. Hinabol ko siya, in my heels, and tripped over. Aish.
IS: How about your insights on crushing on someone and being in love?
Baileys: Crush for me is just the same as admiration while love is a deeper concept. When you’re inlove, you become willing to let a person go even if it hurts you because all you want to do is make that other person happy.
Misha: Having a crush on someone is a child’s thing. Love is different. When you love, you fight for it. ‘Cause you know it’s the best thing that’ll happen in your life. *smile*
IS: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Baileys and Misha: No.
Baileys: Love takes time to bloom.
Misha: Yeah, it’s like having to know the person’s strengths and weaknesses and accepting them over time.
IS: So, you both gave clear definitions of love. Are you crushing on someone? Loving someone right now?
Baileys: I’m loving someone right now. :”>
Misha: Oh, talaga? Aww. You didn’t tell me. I have this huge crush on Lael. ) *tugs Baileys’ arm* Oi, Baileys, sino yang love mo? *pouts*
